Members of the Aluxety team had the opportunity to participate in the Cape Ann Community Foundation’s 3rd Annual Candlepins for a Cause event at Cape Ann Lanes in Gloucester on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The event brought together local businesses, community leaders, nonprofit supporters, and residents for an evening of friendly competition and fundraising, all in support of organizations that strengthen communities throughout Cape Ann.
As a brokerage committed to supporting the communities where we live and work, Aluxety was proud to field a bowling team and contribute to an event that directly benefits local nonprofit organizations. The Cape Ann Community Foundation has awarded more than $130,000 in grants since its founding, helping fund programs and services that improve the quality of life for residents across Essex, Gloucester, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport. Events like Candlepins for a Cause play an important role in making that work possible.
We would like to recognize Aluxety agent Jim Brown, whose strong ties to the Cape Ann community helped introduce our team to this event. Jim’s ongoing involvement in local organizations and community initiatives reflects the values we strive to uphold as a brokerage.
