For more than six decades, Beverly Homecoming has been one of the city’s most anticipated summer traditions. This year feels even more special as Beverly celebrates its 400th anniversary, turning what is typically a five-day festival into a two-week celebration filled with community events, local businesses, live entertainment, and waterfront traditions.
Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to be part of one of Homecoming’s signature events, LobsterFest at Lynch Park, and it reminded us exactly why we love being involved in the communities we serve.
A Day of Conversations, Connections, and Community
Lynch Park was full of energy throughout the afternoon. Families gathered under the trees enjoying classic New England lobster dinners, neighbors caught up with one another, children explored the vendor booths, and live music carried across the waterfront. It was one of those summer days that perfectly captures what makes Beverly such a special place to call home.
We were grateful to spend the day meeting so many residents at the Aluxety booth. Some visitors stopped by to chat about the market, others shared stories about their neighborhoods or upcoming moves, and many simply introduced themselves while enjoying the festivities. Those conversations are one of the reasons we make community events like this a priority.
Real estate is about far more than buying and selling homes. It’s about understanding the people, neighborhoods, traditions, and local businesses that make a community feel like home. Spending time at events like Beverly Homecoming allows us to build relationships in a way that simply isn’t possible from behind a desk.
Beverly Homecoming Isn’t Over Yet
If you couldn’t make it to LobsterFest, there’s still plenty of time to join the celebration before Homecoming wraps up.
Friday offers family favorites including the BevRec Carnival, the Kids Entrepreneur Market, Bicycle Safety Rodeo, Historic Beverly’s Lego Beverly: Building Beverly 400 Years in the Bricks exhibit, an Ice Cream Social, and more live entertainment.
Saturday’s Family Day is one of the busiest days of the celebration, with Hospital Point Lighthouse tours, Tiny Tots activities, family games, the Beverly 400+ Garden Party, live music, and an outdoor showing of Top Gun: Maverick at Lynch Park.
The festivities conclude on Sunday with live entertainment, a cardboard boat race, and the annual fireworks over Lynch Park, a tradition that brings the entire community together for one final summer celebration. Click here for more information.
